Koleksiyon Furnishes Headquarters of Turkish Insurance Company Anadolu Sigorta
Istanbul/Turkey, February 2016. Anadolu Sigorta, a leading Turkish insurance company, recently debuted its new headquarters in Istanbul. Designed by architecture firm Erginoğlu & Çalışlar Architects and managed by real estate consulting firm Jones Lang LaSalle, the new office building implements an innovative and contemporary design concept. Outfitted with Koleksiyon furnishings, its sophisticated decor was chosen to ensure a long-lasting professional appearance, while also providing style and comfort to staff and others using the space.
Anadolu Sigorta’s headquarters was built on a 10,000 m² area in Kavacık, Istanbul. The new building will house 650 employees spread over eight floors. The design goal was to create a central working space, where desk stations and systems complement and work with casual areas found throughout the office.
The designers chose Koleksiyon’s Barbari desk system, designed by Studio Kairos, for the central work stations. Additionally, the Swami executive system, designed by Faruk Malhan, was specified for many of the employees. Khan conference tables designed by Koray Malhan, were placed in meeting areas in order to provide collaborative work spaces.
For casual areas found throughout the office, Koleksiyon’s Dilim and Ikaros sofas were selected. These sofas serve as an inviting oasis for employees to rest, work or hold a meeting. Other sofa systems, including Tellasmar, Sambia, Opera, Babil, and Serdiyar were also used in the headquarters’ design, as well as the Monte Cristo armchair, and Suri, a pouf designed by Sezgin Aksu and Silvia Suardi, providing numerous seating options to accommodate a worker’s ever-changing needs.
